Job Details:

* 2 years of experience in emergency nursing specialty required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (preferred)
* California nursing license in hand required - No EMSA
* Local travelers accepted
* Charting system: Paragon - training provided
* Experience with General Emergency Department - Combined Adult/Pedi
* Level I and Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
* ER staff are not required to float as agency
* Required to complete Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card courses onsite within 30 days of start date
* DUI background hits will not be accepted
* Requested time off must be presented at time of submission - time off requests submitted after offer will not be approved

Facility:

This facility is a fast-paced emergency department serving a combined adult and pediatric patient population with access to Level I and Level II Trauma Center capabilities. The facility utilizes Paragon as its electronic charting system and provides training to incoming staff. The organization is committed to maintaining a safe environment, requiring all incoming staff to complete onsite safety training courses as part of the onboarding process.
