Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work on a 15-bed medical/surgical telemetry unit
* Patient ratios of 5-6:1
* Day shift staffing includes 3 RNs and 1 PCT; night shift staffing includes 3 RNs and 1 PCT
* 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
* Float to any med/surg or telemetry unit as needed
* Telemetry experience required - candidates without this skill will not be considered
* Phlebotomy experience preferred
* ACLS certification preferred
* BLS certification required
* Work with general med/surg equipment including bladder scanner and EKG
* EMR system: Meditech Expanse
* Perform patient-specific procedures on the unit
* Must demonstrate self-initiative, teamwork, and excellent patient experience skills
* Royal blue scrubs required

This facility is a full-service medical center offering comprehensive inpatient care across multiple units and specialties. The medical/surgical telemetry unit is located on the first floor of the main tower and supports a collaborative team environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. The facility utilizes Meditech Expanse as its electronic medical records system and maintains modern equipment to support a wide range of patient needs.
