RN - FSED

Job Details:

* Work in a 22-bed Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) with a 1:4 patient ratio
* Shift options include Day Shift, Mid Shift, and Night Shift coverage
* Day Shift staffing: 1 CNC, 3 RNs; Mid Shift: 2 RNs; Night Shift: 1 CNC, 3 RNs
* Weekends required as needed or every other weekend based on preference
* No on-call responsibilities
* Perform procedures including IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting
* Operate equipment including splinting devices, defibrillator, Hamilton Vent, Welch Allyn, and bedside cardiac monitoring
* Use Meditech Magic EMR system transitioning to Meditech Expanse
* Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and active RN license
* Preferred certifications: ENPC and NRP
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs, closed-toed shoes (no Crocs with holes), no false nails, no AirPods, no Meta glasses; stethoscope required for patient assessments
* Strong teamwork and patient experience focus required

This freestanding emergency department operates 24/7 and is equipped to handle a wide range of emergency medical situations. The facility maintains a 22-bed unit with consistent staffing across day, mid, and night shifts to ensure quality patient care. The organization adheres to Joint Commission regulatory guidelines and fosters a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences.
