Open Position: RN - ICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2564.88

Opportunity:

RN - ICU (Blended: Neuro, MICU, Surgical)

Job Details:

* Blended ICU position covering Neuro, MICU, and Surgical ICU patients
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 2:1 on days, nights, and weekends
* Self-scheduling unit
* Weekend coverage required
* Float required within the Irvine Campus
* 48-hour orientation
* 24-bed unit with a daily census of 12
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Patient diagnoses include MICU, SICU, and Neuro cases
* Special procedures include IABP, Impella, IRRAflow, EVD, and arterial lines
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS all must be in-hand when applying
* California state license required in-hand when applying (EMSA not accepted)
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* No RTO within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract preferred
* Key skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, EVD management, ICP monitoring, vasoactive drip titration, cardiac drip titration, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction

The facility supports a blended intensive care unit environment encompassing neurological, medical, and surgical ICU patients within a 24-bed unit. The organization maintains high standards for travel compliance and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system, with structured onboarding and module requirements to ensure quality patient care.
