RN - Charge Nurse

Job Details:

* Night shift schedule
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
* Master's Degree preferred
* Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required
* Current nursing license per state of assignment required
* Required certifications: AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN), BLS
* Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification preferred
* Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel
* Ensure all patients receive cost effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
* Maintain highest level of patient safety and assess and take steps to improve quality of patient experience
* Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences with health team members, patients, and families to develop and revise care plans
* Foster an environment of patient and family centered care with attention to cultural diversity and personal needs
* Make rounds to oversee patient care needs and solicit feedback on quality of nursing services
