Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Job Details:

* Night shift position with 36-48 guaranteed hours per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing, and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients and family members
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Solid telemetry experience required as these are mixed MS/Tele units
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor), ACLS (from approved vendor)
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
