Opportunity:

RN - Pediatric Intensive Care

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts on a 3x12 schedule
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* No call requirements
* Minimum 2 years of PEDS/PICU experience required
* Prior travel experience required
* Nevada RN license required prior to start
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
* May be required to float to other departments up to competency level
* May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
* Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
* Provide optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process for pediatric patients and their families
* Accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care
* Coordinate care between other professionals as needed

Facility:

This facility is an extremely busy and fast-paced medical center serving a 500-mile radius, operating at the volume and pace of a Level I trauma center. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with stroke accreditation and 800 inpatient beds. It is home to the region's only children's hospital, a leading robotic surgery institute, groundbreaking brain and nerve care, and comprehensive heart and cancer services. The facility has pioneered numerous medical advancements in the region, including the first accredited heart failure center, the first Institute for Neurosciences, and the first low-dose CT imaging, Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, and dedicated PET/CT scanner in the area.
