Job Details:

* Night shift position working Sunday through Saturday, 3 days per week
* Shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 17-week contract length
* Weekend coverage required
* Float required
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute preferred (must be physical Blue Card - MAB or online CPI Blue certification not accepted)
* California State License required in-hand when applying (EMSA not accepted)
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Two (2) supervisor references required when applying
* Skills required include: telemetry, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, peripheral and central line care, blood product administration, PICC line management, IV management, heparin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, thrombolytic agents, CVA care, neurological monitoring, wound care/wound vac, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy care, ABG interpretation, and more
* No requested time off within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract highly preferred

The organization supports a wide range of clinical needs and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system. The facility maintains high standards for nursing compliance and credentialing, and provides interdisciplinary support across units including telemetry, ICU, and emergency departments.
