RN - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work on a 28-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
* Patient ratios of 1:5-6
* 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule required for full-time positions
* No on-call required
* Perform telemetry monitoring and wound care procedures
* Utilize equipment including Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, glucometer, mobilab, and Welch Allyn devices
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Float to other Medical/Surgical Telemetry units and Emergency Department for inpatient hold patients as needed
* Active RN or LVN license required
* BSN preferred
* BLS certification required
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Must demonstrate caring, compassionate behaviors and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

This facility operates a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit staffed by a dedicated team including a Director, Manager, Charge Nurse Coordinator, Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, and Unit Secretaries. The unit emphasizes collaborative, patient-centered care and maintains a structured staffing model across both day and night shifts to ensure consistent, high-quality patient outcomes.
