Open Position: RN - Stepdown

Opportunity:

RN - MedSurg Stepdown

Job Details:

* Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Weekend and holiday shifts required as scheduled
* No time off approved between December 20th and January 2nd
* Work on an 34-bed MedSurg unit that includes both Stepdown and Floor patients
* Patient ratios of 1:3 for Stepdown and 1:5-6 for Floor
* Required to titrate drips
* Must be proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips
* Ventilators are present on this unit with respiratory therapy available in-house 24/7
* Charge Nurse and Transport RN available from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM at optimal staffing
* Certified nursing assistants typically available with 2-5 CAs on the unit
* Telemetry technicians post strips each shift
* May be required to float to other units
* Scrub color required: Royal Blue
* Charting system: EPIC
* 2 shift cancellation policy per 13-week contract
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS
