Job Details:

* Day shift position working 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Rotating shifts required with no blocked schedules
* On-call responsibilities are rare
* Provide nursing care in a critical care setting including Medical ICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU
* Care for patients with multi-system failure requiring ventilation, neuro/trauma, respiratory failure, and hemodynamic monitoring
* Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy including blood products
* Care for and maintain indwelling catheters and drains
* Accurately interpret ECG rhythms and manage care during life-threatening emergencies
* Demonstrate knowledge and skill in ICP and ventriculostomy monitoring
* Verify alarm settings with Monitor Technician and demonstrate knowledge of lead functions
* Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel
* Must be proficient with Epic electronic health records system
* Minimum two years of recent critical care experience required
* Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
* Completion of a Critical Care Nursing course required
* Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
* TNCC must be obtained prior to start date if not currently held
* Current RN license in state of practice required

This 162-bed acute care facility has been serving the Central California Coast community since 1959. The facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and serves as a county designated trauma center, offering a comprehensive range of critical care services to the surrounding community.
