Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1854.60

Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Work on a 22-bed Med/Surg unit on the 3 East floor
* Maintain a maximum patient ratio of 6:1
* Provide acute med/surg care with 1+ years of experience within the last year required
* Experience with neurological patients including CVAs, TIAs, and altered mental status preferred
* Neuro/neuro-surgery or orthopedic background preferred; Med/Surg/Telemetry background also acceptable
* Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance
* Administer medications and document in EMR (Meditech)
* Perform continuous bladder irrigation and nasogastric tube insertion and maintenance
* Communicate effectively with all members of the care team
* Float to other Med/Surg units as needed
* Dress code requires scrubs
* Must demonstrate a friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused personality

This medical center operates a dedicated Med/Surg unit staffed by a team of registered nurses, patient care assistants, and unit secretaries. The unit utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical record system and is equipped with standard medical equipment to support a wide range of patient care needs. The facility emphasizes quality care and teamwork across its Med/Surg floors.
