Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - OR (701)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Saturday through Monday schedule with rotation of one additional weekday shift covering third shift
* Weekend days shift type
* 408-bed hospital with main OR consisting of 14 operating rooms (1 Hybrid CV OR, 1 Cysto, 12 multipurpose ORs)
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Day shift staffing includes 14-16 RNs and 14-16 CSTs with Clinical Charge RNs
* Night shift includes Clinical Charge RN, OR RN, and CST with call teams for Neuro, CVOR, and General
* On-call required 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM one day per week and weekend on-call once every 6 weeks if SSC Ortho doctor is on-call
* Perform procedures including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and ortho/spine (no transplant procedures)
* Operate standard OR equipment and Stryker Video systems
* Use Meditech EMR system (experience preferred)
* Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience required
* Circulating and scrubbing experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Strong patient experience focus and good communication with staff and providers required
* Must be adaptable to change

Facility:

This facility is a 408-bed hospital featuring a main OR with 14 operating rooms, including a Hybrid CV OR, a Cysto room, and 12 multipurpose operating rooms. The unit is supported by a robust team of OR RNs, CSTs, PCTs, Anesthesia Techs, Service Line Lead RNs, Tech Service Line Coordinators, Clinical Charge RNs, and experienced leadership. The facility utilizes modern technology including Stryker Video systems and Meditech EMR, providing a well-equipped environment for OR professionals.
