Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg/Tele

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
* No on-call required
* May be required to float to other Med Surg/Tele units or ICU (low acuity)
* Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* 1 year of experience required; travel experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Active Tennessee or compact nursing license required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), and NIHSS
* Epic EMR experience within the last 18 months required and must be clearly documented on profile
* Must pass Epic competency exam on site; only one attempt allowed
* Skills required include telemetry monitoring, IV management, blood product administration, central line care, heparin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias, wound care, tracheostomy care, and use of rapid response/code teams
* 36 orientation hours included

Facility:

This facility operates a busy Med Surg/Tele floor with 41 beds and a daily census of 36 patients. The unit is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The facility is committed to delivering high-quality patient care across a wide range of medical and telemetry needs.
