Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted unless they have 5+ years of experience
* Required certifications: ARDMS-OB and ABD, BLS; RVT preferred
* Perform general scanning including vascular (DVT, arterial studies), OBGYN (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester, size and dates, BPP), and general abdomen, pelvic, and testicular studies
* Must be comfortable working solo as the only Ultrasound Technician on site
* On-call responsibilities include 1 night per week (10:30 PM to following morning) and 1 weekend per month (Friday night to Monday morning); 30-minute response time required
* If working weekend night schedule, no weekend call will be assigned, only 1 weeknight call shift per week
* Will work a mostly set schedule
* Rare possibility of floating to a nearby hospital location
* 2 to 5 days of orientation provided; if scheduled for nights, orientation will occur during days
* EMR system: EPIC
* PACS system: Philips View
* Equipment used: GE Logiq P9
* Scrub color: Any solid color; no graphics, logos, or designs

Facility:

This free-standing Emergency Department operates with 10 beds and serves a census of approximately 10 patients per shift. The facility primarily treats adult emergency patients with some pediatric cases, and handles a range of diagnoses including OBGYN, general, abdominal, and vascular conditions. On-site support includes ER nurses, ER providers, respiratory therapy, and management available by phone, with an off-site radiologist providing additional support.
