RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Labor and Delivery unit located on Floor 3A of the Main Hospital
* 26-bed unit with a staff of 52
* Day shift staffing includes at minimum 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, and an ORT
* Night shift staffing includes at minimum 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, and an ORT
* Patient ratios: 1:4 for antepartum patients and 1:1 or 1:2 for laboring patients (estimated, not guaranteed)
* Work with Alaris pumps and document using Meditech and CPN charting systems
* Perform care for laboring patients, antepartum patients, and EDOB patients
* Assist with C-sections and cerclages
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care L&D RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
* Mom baby or couplet care experience preferred
* Antepartum and high-risk L&D experience preferred
* Must be flexible and able to work autonomously

The unit is equipped with modern technology including Alaris pumps and utilizes advanced electronic medical record systems to support clinical staff.
