Opportunity:

Inpatient Hospice nurse

Job Details:

* Home care hospice nurse role serving Buncombe County as a mobile position
* Patient ratio of 1:15
* Day shift team includes 1 team manager per branch, 1 CNC, 3 RN case managers, and 2-3 PCTs
* Assess patients, provide pain management, and educate families
* Document hospice certifications in accordance with hospice documentation requirements
* Utilize Home Care Home Base EMR system
* Must have hospice experience as a case manager and be self-sufficient
* Hospice experience required - candidates without this will not be considered
* Familiarity with EMR required
* Active driver's license required
* Understanding of documentation needed for hospice certifications required
* Home health experience preferred
* Dress code: scrubs
* Potential for backup on-call but not very likely
* Required certifications: RN, CPR
