Job Details:
* Block scheduling required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Position will float between units
* Responsibilities include floor care, emergency room, code response, and rapid response
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient ratios depend on acuity
* Preferred patient diagnoses experience: pediatrics and adolescents
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT
* Preferred equipment experience: Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Trilogy, LTV1250
* Required skills include: aerosol setup, BiPAP, CPAP, extubation, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), nitric oxide, tracheostomy care and management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, rapid response, and pediatrics among others
* Scrub color: any color
* Charting system: Epic
* Parking: no fee
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
Facility:
This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center with Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation. With 629 total staffed beds and 644 licensed beds, it operates as a teaching hospital offering a comprehensive range of services including a Level 4 NICU, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PICU. The facility provides care across multiple specialties and supports a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
