Open Position: RN - Oncology

Opportunity:

Outpatient Oncology Clinic RN

Job Details:

* 4x9 day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* No weekends required with one varying weekday off per week
* Position is based at the Issaquah campus with potential to float to other campuses
* Floating between sister facilities may be required; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Acute care med/surg oncology experience required
* Outpatient oncology experience preferred with extensive chemotherapy experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC)
* OCN certification preferred
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Care for adult oncology patients with chemotherapy infusion appointments
* Daily census of approximately 30 patients across 12 rooms
* Outpatient physicians available in clinic to support infusion needs
* Required skills include: accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, administration of blood and blood products, central line blood draws, central line and implanted line care, continuous infusion of chemotherapy, PICC line care, infusion pump management, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, monitoring chemotherapy, IV hydration and multivitamins, management and disposal of cytotoxic spills, and recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the submittal process
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process prior to start

The facility provides comprehensive chemotherapy infusion services in a clinic setting supported by outpatient physicians. With a daily census of approximately 30 patients and 12 dedicated treatment rooms, the clinic is equipped to deliver high-quality, patient-centered oncology care in a structured and collaborative environment.
