Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Work across 4 ICUs specializing in Stroke/Neuro, Cardiac (Cath Lab, Open Heart), Trauma, and General (DKA, Sepsis)
* Must be versed in more than one ICU specialty to float between ICUs and Telemetry unit
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* 2 years of experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Experience with any charting system required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, arterial line management, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, titrating cardiac drips, titrating vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), suctioning (ETT, NT), and isolation precautions/PPE
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
* Maximum of 2 pre-approved days off during contract
* Strict dress code requirements: no facial hair, no acrylic nails, no unnatural hair colors, all tattoos must be covered, no visible body piercings other than earrings, no facial or nose rings, and earrings may not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoop earrings
* First-time travelers will be considered
