CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts
* Shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Scattered shifts throughout Monday through Sunday
* Scheduled shifts available Monday through Wednesday and Thursday through Saturday
* Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
* Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
* Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to appropriate locations
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
* Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
* R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) registration required
* Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required in California
* Advanced Certification in CT modality preferred in California
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
* Fluoroscopy license required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment
* Venipuncture certification required in California if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials

The facility is comprised of a 47-bed hospital with three operating rooms and four cardiac catheterization labs, offering comprehensive specialty services to the surrounding community.
