Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM with weekday, weekend, and possible holiday call
* Monday through Friday shifts available in 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour increments with varied start times; block scheduling is allowed
* Weekend requirement covered by call time
* Call requirement of 5-6 call days; call starts at 9:00 PM and ends at 6:30 AM the following morning
* Weekend call: Call 1 covers 12-hour days, Call 2 covers 12-hour nights
* Call response time of 30 minutes required
* Holidays covered by rotation
* Main OR has 7 suites with 22-45 cases per day across all specialties; 35-40% are add-on cases
* Common case types include general surgery, bowel resection, robotic surgery, gynecology, urology, TURP, cystoscopy, lithotripsy, some bariatrics, and plastics
* Level 3 trauma facility; no neuro cases; both inpatient and outpatient cases
* Scrubbing required; take add-on cases as needed
* May float to CVOR or Main OR for vascular cases if experience is applicable
* One week of floor-specific orientation provided
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: EPIC
* Required certifications: BLS Certification
* Must be a graduate of an accredited school and registered with Washington State
* Washington State license required at time of submittal; no pending licenses will be reviewed
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

This acute care facility operates a main OR with 7 suites and handles a high volume of surgical cases daily across multiple specialties. The facility supports Level 3 trauma services and offers a wide range of surgical procedures including robotic surgery, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, and plastics. The organization provides 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory therapy support, with charge nurses available on every shift to cover both the Main OR and CVOR.
