Open Position: RN - Cardiac Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $4075.00

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac/Telemetry (Night Shift)

Job Details:

* 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend coverage required, may change based on need
* Float required to like units or other facilities based on census needs
* Care for inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions
* Common diagnoses include sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and Coronary Artery Disease
* Care for cardiac patients receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation
* Perform and assist with vasoactive drug administration, antiarrhythmic drug therapy, and thrombolytic therapy
* Perform defibrillation/cardioversion, thoracentesis, cardiac telemetry monitoring, EKG, and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:5 on days; weekend coverage included
* Unit capacity of 20 beds with a daily census of 14
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in field required; first-time travelers considered based on experience
* Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry
* Call required based on volume; one pre-approved time off allowed
