Opportunity:

MRI Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, Monday through Friday
* 24 hours per week with positions available for 3 shifts per week or 2 shifts per week
* No weekend or holiday requirements
* No on-call or standby requirements
* No block or self-scheduling available
* Operate a single Siemens MRI scanner in a mobile MRI unit setting
* Perform brain, spine, MRA, body (abdomen, pelvis, chest), and MSK (long bone, joints, etc.) imaging studies
* Average of 14 scans/studies per day
* Start and administer IVs as required
* Communicate effectively with physicians and work as a lone technologist
* Utilize EPIC charting system and Fuji PACS
* Work alongside 2 Technologist Assistants as part of the desired staffing model
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Grey scrubs required and not provided
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, and WV MRI license

Facility:

This facility is a newly established mobile MRI unit operating within a neuroscience institute setting, providing specialized radiology services in an acute care environment. The unit features a single Siemens MRI scanner and operates with on-site radiology supervision and an in-house radiologist. The department utilizes EPIC for charting and Fuji PACS for imaging, offering a streamlined and modern workflow for radiology professionals.
