Opportunity:

RN - Intermediate / Step Down

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Variable schedule with nights required
* 13-week assignment
* Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty required
* Required certification: AHA BLS
* Preferred certification: ACLS and NIHSS
* Care for intermediate medical patients including high risk respiratory, cardiac thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and head/neck surgery patients
* Manage a variety of patient populations with respiratory support ranging from room air to BIPAP or Optiflow
* Must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
* Must work 1 minor holiday from the following: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
* No local candidates within 50 miles considered

The unit is equipped to support patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and respiratory interventions, with a focus on thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and head and neck surgery recovery. The facility maintains high standards of patient care and supports staff in managing a wide variety of clinical needs.
