Job Details:

* Work in a 12-bed free-standing emergency department with a 1:4 patient ratio
* 36-hour weekly schedule with rotating weekends required
* May float to other free-standing emergency departments if staffing allows or to meet 36-hour requirement
* Minimum 2 years of patient experience required
* Perform drip titrations, breathing treatment administration, and provide both pediatric and adult patient care
* Perform procedures including pelvic exams, suture setup, and orthopedic splinting
* Use equipment including Hamilton Ventilator, EKG, and bedside monitors
* Document using Meditech system
* Demonstrate strong attendance, teamwork, and quality patient care
* Communicate effectively with providers and peers regarding patient care needs
* Blue or black scrubs preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI if available

Facility:

This free-standing emergency department has been operational and serving the community for 13 years, staffed by a tenured and experienced team. The facility operates a 12-bed unit equipped with modern technology including Hamilton Ventilators, EKG machines, and bedside monitors. A new 68-bed hospital has been approved and will be built on the property, expanding the range of services provided locally.
