Job Details:

* Work shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM in the Emergency Department
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units is required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required with some pediatric experience
* Travel experience is required
* Charge nurse capability highly preferred
* Provide care to all assigned patients including SANE patients
* Treat patients across all age groups: Newborn, Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric
* Common patient diagnoses include Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure
* 64-bed unit including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
* Experience with specialty equipment required: Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
* Required drip and medication experience: Pressors (Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine), Vasodilators (Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG), Anti-arrhythmics (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido), Sedation (Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl), TNK, Heparin, and Insulin
* EMR experience required: EPIC
* Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
* Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS verification
