Job Details:

* Work in a Labor & Delivery unit with 2 triage rooms, 10 labor rooms, and 2 operating rooms
* Patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1 depending on acuity
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1 triage nurse, 6 RNs, 1 scrub tech, and 1 secretary
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1 triage nurse, 5 RNs, 1 scrub tech, and 1 secretary
* Rotate every other weekend
* Possible circulator call responsibilities
* Closed unit with charge/leave to postpartum
* Must be proficient in starting IVs and drawing labs
* Must be able to interpret fetal strips
* Must be proficient in vaginal exams
* Must be experienced as an OB circulator
* Ability to scrub is preferred
* Perform procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, amniocentesis, amnioinfusions, and IUPC/FSE placement
* Operate equipment including fetal monitors, IUPC, FSE, fluid warmers, IV pumps, and epidural pumps
* Use EMR systems CPN and Meditech
* Wear teal scrubs (nursing staff) or navy scrubs (techs)
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
* Ideal candidate is organized with great time management and is empathic, caring, and compassionate
