MedSurg 3CC RN

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Day shift nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4-5, Night shift ratio: 1:5-6
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday coverage as needed
* Day/night rotation will not occur more than weekly
* Float to medical and telemetry units as needed
* Required certification: BLS
* BSN degree not required
* Any color scrubs permitted
* Use EPIC charting system
* Bedside shift report required
* Care for patients with total joint replacement, spinal surgery, urology procedures, abdominal surgery, bariatrics, and medical overflow
* Manage hemovacs, JP drains, and colostomies
* Handle occasional heparin drips, PCA pumps, and TPN
* Work with remote telemetry packs with monitor tech support
* Surgical experience and post-operative care preferred
* First-time travelers welcome
* Profile review and manager interview required
