Job Details:

* Candidates must be proficient in either Ortho/Neuro OR General/Robotics
* Rotating 8-hour shifts: 6:45 AM?3:15 PM; 9:00 AM?5:30 PM; 3:00 PM?11:30 PM; 7:00 AM?7:30 PM (weekends only)
* Weeknight call requirements: 1?2 times per week, 3:15 PM?6:45 AM
* Weekend call requirements: Every 3?4 weekends based on staffing, Friday 3:15 PM through Monday 6:45 AM
* Must be willing to work holidays, rotating with permanent staff
* Call response time: 15 minutes; 8-hour reprieve shifts provided post-call; sleep room available
* 4?5 days of unit-specific orientation plus 2 buddy call shifts
* Must be willing to float to cross-train to other specialty cases as a second scrub
* Must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter (training provided); refusal may result in unpaid RDO day
* Scrub colors provided
* Charting system: EPIC
* Trauma Level 2, Acute Care Setting
* Required certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA, ND UAP
* BSN not required
* 25?30 cases per day (Ortho/Neuro track)

General/Robotics Track:
* 12 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, 1 Cysto Suite
* Common cases: Peds through geriatrics, cysto, Da Vinci XI for General/GYN/Urology, ION robotic cases, open bellies, endo/GI with scope experience
* Equipment: ION Robot, Da Vinci XI, Stryker towers
* Must have at least 1 year of experience and proficiency with open bellies, GYN, Da Vinci XI for general, and endoscopy

Ortho/Neuro Track:
* 12 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, 1 Cysto Suite
* Common cases: Total joints (hips, knees, shoulders, ankles), sports medicine, arthroscopies, neuro-spinal fusions, cervical and lumbar fusions, micro discs, and craniotomies
* Must have at least 1 year of Ortho/Neuro OR experience

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a Level 2 Trauma Center with a robust surgical department featuring 12 operating rooms, an endoscopy suite, and a cystoscopy suite. The OR department maintains a family-oriented atmosphere and is supported by charge nurses across all shifts. The facility utilizes advanced robotic surgical technology and offers a wide range of surgical specialties, providing surgical technologists with diverse and dynamic clinical experiences.
