RN - Mom Baby

Job Details:

* Must have Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience
* Minimum 2+ years of experience required
* Work on a 10-bed Mom Baby unit with patient ratios of 1:3 couplets
* Day shift staffing includes a minimum of 2 RNs up to 3 depending on patient census and acuity
* Night shift staffing includes a minimum of 2 RNs up to 3 depending on patient census and acuity
* Required certifications: NRP with experience catching babies
* Perform deliveries including cesarean sections and spontaneous vaginal deliveries
* Provide routine postpartum care and circumcision procedures
* Care for some GYN post-op patients
* Utilize EMR systems CPN and Meditech
* Must be patient-centered, friendly, self-driven, and a strong team player
* Strong emphasis on teamwork and patient experience

Staff work together closely to ensure high-quality care for mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum process.
