Opportunity:

Phlebotomist

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers may be screened for consideration
* Epic and Beaker experience preferred
* Must be proficient with Epic charting system
* Required certifications: BLS, CPT I (Active in state of CA)
* Scrub color: Navy blue (any color is also acceptable)
* Free parking available
* Weekend coverage required
* Potential to float to sister facilities
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Preferred experience with neonates and infants
* Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
* Required skills include finger stick, heel stick, post venipuncture site care, proper labeling, syringe method, vacutainer method, and handheld collection devices
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
