Open Position: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Details:

* Day shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break
* On-call once per week from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and every 3rd weekend Saturday and Sunday
* Weekend shifts as needed from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with call coverage from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM Saturday and Sunday
* Block scheduling type
* Patient ratio of 4 patients per day
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Special procedures include Pluvicto, Lutathera, Y90 theraspheres, I-131 thyroid therapies, SPECT/CT, blood volumes, general nuclear medicine, and cardiac nuclear medicine
* Treat patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(N), and/or NMTCB registration, and SCRQSA certification
* ARRT in Radiology preferred
* CT certification preferred
* Must be proficient in starting and maintaining IVs and storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials
* May be required to float to other units based on census needs, limited to qualified areas where competencies have been demonstrated

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a comprehensive health system offering a wide range of specialty services and interdisciplinary support, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The nuclear medicine department operates with 5 rooms and maintains a daily census of approximately 15 patients, providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
