Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units is required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Charge nurse capability highly preferred
* Travel experience required
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in the emergency department required, with some pediatric experience
* Provide care to all assigned patients, including SANE patients
* Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
* Patient population includes newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
* Specialty equipment includes Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
* 64-bed unit consisting of 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
* EMR experience required: EPIC
* Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC must be in hand at time of submission)
* Active NY RN license required with NURSYS verification

The unit features 64 beds across multiple care settings including acute, trauma, super track, psychiatric, and clinical decision unit areas. The facility is equipped with advanced specialty equipment and supports a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatric patients, reflecting a comprehensive and high-acuity care environment.
