Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Patient population includes neonates/infants and adults
* Patient ratio of 1:1-2 on days, nights, and weekends
* 16 labor and delivery beds with an average daily census of 15 and a 6-bed L&D triage
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; AWHONN Intermediate preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required; Pyxis and SBAR also used
* Scrubs provided by the facility
* Self-scheduling with a maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th?12th)
* 3 weekend shifts required per contract
* Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
* Call requirements: 2 calls per 6 weeks for AM and PM shifts
* Holiday coverage expected based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period
* 24 orientation hours required
* Skills include: labor and vaginal delivery, C-sections, multiple births, postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy-induced hypertension, D&C, external and internal fetal monitoring, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, epidural anesthesia support, triage of obstetrical patients, and use of operating room equipment
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
