Job Details:

* 8-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Weekends, call, and holidays required
* Must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in
* Must be certified as a Surgical Tech through completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program
* Travel experience required
* Orthopedic experience required
* Scrubbing experience required
* Da Vinci experience required
* May be asked to precept new staff
* BLS certification required
* Function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient
* Perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including precise and efficient reaction to all situations
* Create and maintain a sterile surgical room and ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely
* Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
* Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room setting required
* Assist with departmental work as assigned
