Open Position: RN - OR ICU/SICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2066.16

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed per week
* Three 12-hour shifts per week
* Every other weekend required (or 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period)
* Patient ratio of 2:1
* 32-bed ICU unit split between MICU (16 beds) and SICU (16 beds)
* Float to like units including NSICU, Cardiac Telemetry units, Progressive Care Unit, Burn Unit, ED Inpatient Overflow, and other units as per overall hospital needs
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Unit secretary available from 7:30 AM to midnight
* Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Preferred certification: TNCC (not required)
* Skills required include trauma patient management, IV administration of vasoactive medications, ventilator management, chest tube management, care of post-op surgical patients, cardiac rhythm identification and management, hemodynamic monitoring, and care of stroke patients
* Advanced skills needed: hemodynamic and ventilator management
* Procedures performed on unit include chest tube placement, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia, ECMO, arterial line and central line placement
* Required dress code: Navy scrub top (no t-shirts), navy or black scrub bottoms, navy/white/black solid color jackets and undershirts

This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, offering a high-acuity environment with advanced medical capabilities. The ICU is a 32-bed unit divided into medical and surgical intensive care, providing comprehensive critical care services. The facility is equipped with modern technology and staffed by experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
