Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

* Work 3 shifts per week with every other weekend and holidays in rotation
* 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
* May float to other areas as needed if low volumes in the ED, rotating basis for floating
* 22-bed emergency department with a 4:1 patient ratio
* Low acuity strategy unit with techs and unit secretary support available
* Work with equipment including LifePak, fluid warmers, and rapid infusers
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Procedures performed include EKG, IV, NG tube, and anything within RN scope
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC
* Dress code: Black scrubs required; black scrub jacket if needed; white, gray, or black shirt may be worn under scrub top
* Minimum 1 year of experience acceptable
* Patient experience requirements include compassion, caring, and teamwork

Facility:

This 190-bed acute care facility provides comprehensive community healthcare services, including 24-hour emergency care, a sleep center, and a women's imaging center. The facility is a proud recipient of several nationally recognized accreditations and awards, including recognition as a Primary Stroke Center and an "A" rating for Patient Safety from the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Guide. The emergency department features all rooms with float monitor capabilities viewable from the main unit, long-tenured experienced staff with some having 20-30 years in the ED, a family atmosphere, and on-site security.
