Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment in a Level III NICU setting
* Unit operates with 21 beds that flex to 37 beds
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 10 nurses; night shift includes 1 charge nurse and 10 nurses
* Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity
* Weekend requirement of at least every other weekend
* On-call responsibilities included
* Perform typical NICU procedures including line placements and intubations
* Ability to care for babies ranging from Level I to Level III
* Float to Postpartum unit as needed
* Delivery experience preferred
* Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience required
* Required certifications: NRP
* California RN license required
* EMR systems used: Meditech and CPN
* Dress code: Purple scrubs

This facility is a full-service community hospital offering a comprehensive NICU with 21 beds that flex up to 37, staffed by a dedicated team of 60 nursing professionals. The unit is located on the 4th floor of the Vintage Building and provides Level I through Level III neonatal care, supporting a wide range of patient acuity needs. The facility utilizes Meditech and CPN as its electronic medical record systems and maintains high standards for neonatal care.
