Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care

Job Details:

* Night shift position from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM
* 36 hours per week with weekend rotation
* Solid color scrubs required
* Minimum two years of recent acute care nursing experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent supervision
* Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans to promote health and a safe environment
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in delivering patient care
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Provide health information and education to patients, families, and treatment team
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* PALS required - preferred/optional for first contract, but must be obtained if extending to additional contracts
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required

This facility is a 50-bed acute care medical center that has been deeply connected to its community since 1956. The facility includes a level IV trauma center, level II intensive care nursery services, an extensive physical rehabilitation program, an outpatient surgery and diagnostic center, and an advanced wound care center.
