Opportunity:

RN - Devils Lake

Job Details:

* Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
* Perform daily rounds on all patients to assure quality customer service and address unmet requirements
* Develop individualized plans of care based on patient assessment reflecting physical, psychological, social, educational, developmental, and rehabilitative needs
* Assess patient conditions, set goals, and prescribe appropriate nursing actions including discharge planning
* Assess, intervene, and reassess patients' self-reported symptoms of pain and take appropriate action
* Identify early warning signs of changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to deteriorating patients
* Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in patient conditions
* Report pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients to appropriate multidisciplinary team members
* Complete and submit all incident reports prior to the completion of each shift
* Establish and maintain communication with patients and other significant individuals
* Begin discharge planning, education, and counseling as early as possible to optimize patient and family understanding
* Delegate nursing interventions within scope of practice to appropriate personnel
* 13-week contract
* Required certifications: Registered Nurse License (North Dakota Board of Nursing or Compact State), BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE
