Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2563.40

Opportunity:

Acute Care Inpatient PT MH REHAB SERV

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule with 3 required weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per 6-week period
* No on-call required
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Work in a Level II Trauma Center with Stroke Certification - trauma experience is highly preferred
* Provide physical therapy services across a variety of acute care specialties including CVA, multiple trauma, cardiac, orthopedics, open heart, general medicine, oncology, neurology, spine, and total joint
* ICU experience highly preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; acute care experience is a hard stop requirement
* First-time travelers accepted with acute care and trauma experience
* Must be able to work independently with limited orientation provided
* May be required to float to a sister facility
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Special equipment includes lift machines, Saraflex, and Sara Steady machines (training provided on site)
* Required skills include assessment, acute disorder management, chronic disorder management, and functional activities
* Required certifications: BLS and California nursing license
* California license required; may submit with license pending with proof of submission

This acute care hospital is a 488-bed Level II Trauma Center with Stroke Certification, offering a wide range of specialty services including cardiac, orthopedic, oncology, neurology, spine, and total joint care. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides free parking for staff.
