Job Details:

* Work 8-hour day shifts, Thursday through Monday
* Weekend requirements vary and will be specified per requisition
* Holidays are not required
* Dress code requires a maroon polo shirt, dark colored pants, closed-toed shoes, and an optional lab coat
* Outpatient providers may treat up to 9 patients per day; inpatient providers may treat up to 13 patients per day; rehab patient volume varies
* Will cover assigned area and may float to other areas as needed
* Rehab aides and assistants available on unit to assist
* Charting system: Cerner Powerchart
* 1.5 days of department-specific orientation provided, including Cerner training if needed
* May work in outpatient, inpatient, or rehab settings as specified per requisition
* Inpatient diagnoses include orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, trauma, cardiac, and med-surg cases
* Speech therapy candidates must have experience with bedside swallow studies; video swallowing study experience preferred
* Outpatient PT/OT focus includes orthopedic and neurological cases; outpatient Speech includes trauma and neurological cases
* Rehab setting focuses on neurological, spinal cord injury, and trauma cases
* Minimum one year of experience required; travel experience preferred; trauma experience preferred
* CCC-SLP certification required for Speech therapists
* PT must hold a valid state license
* OT must have passed the NBCOT exam
* Required certifications: BLS
* Facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive rehabilitation and therapy program spanning outpatient, inpatient, and dedicated rehab settings. The organization supports PT, OT, and Speech therapy services with the assistance of rehab aides and utilizes Cerner Powerchart as its electronic medical records system. The facility maintains a Level 2 Trauma designation and provides 24/7 pharmacy support to ensure high-quality patient care across all departments.
