Job Details:

* Night shift position with every other weekend requirement
* 48-hour guaranteed time employed (GTE) per week
* Float pool position rotating between Med/Onc, 2 surgical units, and 2 medical units
* First to float to any Med/Surg pod as needed
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
* Total care model with no PCAs
* No telemetry required, with only occasional strip reading
* Care for patients with surgical services needs including colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, and orthopedic procedures
* Care for patients with medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney, and GI conditions
* Basic medical/surgical relevant and current experience required
* Large hospital experience required
* No drip titration required
* Charge nurse present on each shift and takes an assignment
* Remote telemetry monitoring available
* Respiratory therapy readily available to assist; nasal cannula used on floors
* Staff assigned to need areas; no self-scheduling
* No holiday or on-call requirements
* 3 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation provided
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
* Charting system: Cerner (transitioning to EPIC in November 2026)
* Navy scrubs required; scrubs not provided
* BSN not required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA or ARC)
