Open Position: OT - Therapy Rehab Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2542.40

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Weekend and holiday rotation required - every 6th full weekend with weekend shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* Day off provided during the week prior to the Saturday shift and the week after the Sunday shift
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* No on-call required
* Float between Progress West and St. Peters locations may be required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* Adult care experience required
* Adaptive equipment experience required
* Hip fracture, total hip replacement, and knee injuries/total knee replacement experience required
* Skills required: lifting/transfer, patient/family education, safety/injury prevention, telephone calls, and documentation
* Patient diagnoses include orthopedic, neurological, ICU, telemetry, and medical-surgical cases
* Patient age groups served: adults and geriatrics
* Lift equipment available on-site
* EPIC charting experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS and active state license
* Pending state license accepted
* Scrub color: black scrub top and tan scrub pants
* Free parking available in yellow-lined parking spots

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates with 69 staffed beds and provides care across a wide range of specialties including orthopedics, neurology, ICU, telemetry, and medical-surgical units. The facility utilizes EPIC as its primary charting system and supports occupational therapy staff with available lift equipment. The organization maintains multiple locations and may require therapists to float between sites to meet patient care needs.
