Job Details:

* 5x8 hour shifts with varied schedule covering days, evenings, and nights based on department need
* Required to work every weekend
* Float required between two hospital sites in Connecticut and one hospital site in Rhode Island
* Must obtain both CT and RI state licenses; candidate may begin working with whichever license issues first while the other is pending
* Minimum 1.5 years of hospital experience required; 2 years preferred
* Experience with GE and Siemens equipment required
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Patient ratios: 2 patients on nights and weekends
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Level I and Level II trauma experience preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, RI and CT licenses
* Required skills include: 3D rendering, CT with and without contrast (abdomen, chest, head, pelvis), coronary CTA, CT arthrography, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, vascular CTA, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, and venipuncture
* Special equipment: Ceiling Hoyer lift
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* Facility is a stroke center and trauma center

This facility is a short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 total staffed beds, offering free parking for staff. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and is part of a larger regional health system. Interdisciplinary support services are robust, including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced care environment.
