Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule with shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Minimum of two (2) years of medical office experience required
* Minimum of one (1) year of EMR experience required
* Epic charting experience required (hard-stop requirement)
* Travel experience required
* Thorough understanding of insurances including medical policies and authorization process preferred
* Work with adult outpatient clinic patients
* Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, height/weight measurements, and pulse oximetry
* Perform chart preparation, record history/medications/allergies, and scheduling appointments
* Handle authorization forms, insurance verification, and follow-up phone calls
* Manage pharmacy calls and patient refill requests, as well as telephone triage
* Order and stock supplies as needed
* Support surgical scheduling and related administrative tasks
* May be required to float within the facility or to nearby affiliated facilities
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA, NCCT, RMA
