Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

* Day shift, 8 hours, with start time varying between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM based on patient volume
* Weekend call required, rotating schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* 2 treatment rooms with a daily caseload of 20 patients per machine
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Special procedures include SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery) and SBRT
* CT Simulator: Toshiba
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrubs or business casual attire required
* California state license preferred; pending license accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT (T) and state license
* Required skills include: Adult Acute Care, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Electron Field, Elekta Infinity, Respiratory Gating, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Tomo Therapy, Varian 21 ex/ix, Impac MOSAIQ, and others
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
