Certified Home Health Aid - Hospice

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Every other weekend requirement
* Every other holiday requirement
* Approximately 4 patients per 8-hour shift
* Care provided in patients' homes throughout Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic counties serving adult and geriatric patients
* 1 year of home health and hospice experience required
* First-time travelers and local candidates accepted
* May cancel 1 shift per 2-week pay period
* Charting via EMR; HHA completes the HHA Care Plan as directed
* Required certifications: BLS and Certified Home Health Aide certification
* Duties include activities of daily living, bathing and hygiene, ambulation, feeding, turning and repositioning, bed baths, foot care, mouth care, perineal care, skin care, pressure injury prevention, shower assistance, incontinence care, safe transfers, vital sign awareness, passive range of motion, and reporting changes in patient condition

This healthcare organization provides home health and hospice care services across multiple counties, delivering compassionate patient-centered care directly in patients' homes. The organization serves adult and geriatric populations with a daily census of approximately 50 patients and supports its care teams with interdisciplinary resources including unit secretarial support.
