Open Position: RN - Surgical Services

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2919.60

RN - OR

Job Details:

* Work 5x8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with on-call requirements
* Weeknight call starts at 3:30 PM until 7:00 AM the following morning, typically 4 weeknights per month and may increase if staffing decreases
* Weekend call requirement is typically 1 full weekend per month from 7:00 AM Saturday through 7:00 AM Monday
* Holiday call may be assigned if a holiday falls during the contract period
* Must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital at all times while on-call
* Work in a 4-suite OR plus 1 Endoscopy Suite with an average of 8 cases per day
* Common cases include orthopedic total joints, sports medicine, hands and trauma, general surgery, gynecology, C-sections, and endoscopy
* Minimum of 3 years of OR experience required with a strong orthopedic background
* Some endoscopy experience required
* Previous travel experience required
* Scrubbing not required for RNs
* All OR personnel are required to assist with cleaning and turning over operating rooms alongside the orderly team
* Float coverage to endoscopy as needed
* Charting system: Epic; TDOC used for instrument tracking; ProVation used for endoscopy
* 5 days of unit-specific orientation with a dedicated preceptor
* Blue scrubs provided per surgical services attire policy; OR shoes required
* Required certifications: BLS; ACLS recommended
* BSN not required
* Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
